Brittany’s family has lived in their house in Southwest Portland for 40+ years. It belonged to Brittany’s grandparents, who raised many foster children and worked to bring orphans to the USA for adoption. Now Brittany works 2 jobs to make ends meet and keep up with the mortgage so we are going to repaint the basement apartment area to bring in some rental income. When you hear Brittany’s story in the coming weeks and see her steadfastness in the face of adversity, you will understand why our crew chose her and her family for our Winter 2016 Paint It Forward project!

What Is Paint It Forward?
Paint It Forward started out small – a local program for the Greater Los Angeles community – where nominations of deserving families and non-profits were taken and then provided one of them with free painting services and supplies. The program was designed to give back to the local community and spread a little “Painting Happiness” at the same time. 2015 celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Paint It Forward and the year ESP Painting joined the movement. The program that started out small has grown to positively impact many lives in local communities.
